Dharamshala

Reach Dharamshala in the morning before continuing towards Kareri Village by taxi. Dharamshala acts as the gateway to the Kareri Lake trekking route.

Kareri Village

Reach Kareri Village and freshen up before having breakfast. From here, begin the trekking journey towards Kareri Lake through the surrounding Himalayan landscape.

Kareri Lake

Trek towards Kareri Lake and experience the peaceful beauty of this glacial lake surrounded by mountains, forests and streams.

Kareri Lake is situated at approximately 9,626 feet and offers a beautiful high-altitude Himalayan experience.

Lord Shiva Temple

After reaching Kareri Lake, explore the surrounding area and visit the nearby Lord Shiva Temple before returning to the campsite.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 0 – Delhi / Chandigarh to Dharamshala

The journey begins with an overnight journey towards Dharamshala and Kareri Village.

Assemble at the designated pickup point and meet the group and trip captain before beginning the journey.

A dinner halt will be taken during the journey at your own expense.

Day 1 – Dharamshala to Kareri Village & Trek to Kareri Lake

Reach Dharamshala in the morning.

From Dharamshala, travel towards Kareri Village by taxi.

Freshen up at Kareri Village and have breakfast.

After breakfast, begin the trek towards Kareri Lake.

Reach Kareri Lake and check into the campsite.

Lunch will be served at the campsite.

After some rest, explore the surrounding area and visit the nearby Lord Shiva Temple.

Enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay at Kareri Lake.

Day 2 – Kareri Lake to Kareri Village & Return to Delhi

Wake up and have breakfast at the campsite.

After breakfast, begin the trek down from Kareri Lake towards Kareri Village.

Reach Kareri Village and transfer towards Dharamshala.

Continue the journey towards Delhi / Chandigarh.

The group will disassemble after reaching the respective drop-off point.

Conduct Policy: Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated during the trip.

Banned Substances: Narcotics and banned substances are strictly prohibited during the tour. RangRoute and its organizers will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.

Natural Calamity Condition: RangRoute will not be responsible for delays, alterations or indirectly incurred expenses caused by natural hazards, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, landslides, political closures or other unforeseen incidents.

Departure Policy: Travelers must report at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. IDs will be verified before boarding.
