Places We Visit

Rudraprayag

Take a halt at Rudraprayag, located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Relax, enjoy the serene surroundings and explore the local area before continuing towards Chopta.

Tungnath Mandir

Begin an early morning trek from Chopta to Tungnath Mandir, covering approximately 3.5 km. Enjoy the Himalayan surroundings and spend time exploring the temple.

Chandrashila Peak

Continue the trek from Tungnath towards Chandrashila Peak with an additional approximately 1.5 km ascent. The summit offers panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul and Chaukhamba.

Dhari Devi Mandir

Visit Dhari Devi Mandir on the return journey towards Delhi. Located on the banks of the Alaknanda River near Srinagar, Uttarakhand, it is a peaceful stop for darshan before continuing the journey.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Delhi to Chopta via Rudraprayag

The journey from Delhi to Chopta spans approximately 400 km and takes around 9–10 hours by road.

En route, take a halt at Rudraprayag to relax, enjoy the serene views and explore the surroundings.

Continue the journey towards Chopta through the scenic mountain roads.

Reach Chopta and check into the camps.

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Chopta.

Day 2 – Chopta, Tungnath & Chandrashila

Early morning after breakfast, head out for the full-day trek towards Tungnath Mandir.

Begin the trek from Chopta to Tungnath Mandir, approximately 3.5 km. Enjoy the surrounding rhododendron forests and Himalayan views while exploring the temple.

From Tungnath, continue the steeper 1.5 km trek towards Chandrashila Peak.

Enjoy the panoramic Himalayan views from the summit before trekking back down to Chopta by evening.

Return to the camps for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Chopta to Delhi via Dhari Devi Mandir

After breakfast, depart from Chopta towards Delhi via Dhari Devi Mandir.

Take a pause for darshan and enjoy the peaceful riverside surroundings before continuing the journey towards Delhi.

You can have lunch at a local restaurant according to your group's preference.

Continue the journey towards Delhi after darshan.

A ₹2,500 per person advance payment is required to confirm your seat.

The remaining amount must be paid before boarding with RangRoute.

The itinerary may change depending on government permissions, weather conditions, road conditions, natural hazards and other unforeseen circumstances.

The traveler will be taken as far as government and local conditions allow.

Trekking and sightseeing activities are subject to weather, safety conditions and local regulations.

Cancellation Policy

No refund will be provided if the cancellation is made from the client's side.

Exclusions

• Return expenses in case you cancel your trip midway
• Meals which are not included in the itinerary
• Expenses due to natural calamities
• Entry fees / camera fees for entering any monument
• Anything not mentioned in the inclusions
• Trekking poles, boots, jackets, etc.

Terms & Conditions

Payment Policy: ₹2,500 per person must be paid at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining amount is payable on the day of departure.

Verification Policy: Government-issued ID must be verified before boarding. No boarding will be entertained without a valid Government ID.

Conduct Policy: Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated during the trip.

Banned Substances: Narcotics and banned substances are strictly prohibited during the tour. RangRoute and its organizers will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.

Natural Calamity Condition: RangRoute will not be responsible for delays, alterations or indirectly incurred expenses caused by natural hazards, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, landslides, political closures or other unforeseen incidents.

Departure Policy: Travelers must report at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. IDs will be verified before boarding.
