Places We Visit
Chika
Begin the trek from Jobra towards Chika through lush green forests, wooden bridges and the refreshing Rani Nallah stream. Spend the night at the scenic campsite surrounded by Himalayan landscapes.
Balu Ka Ghera
Trek alongside the Hampta River as the trail changes from meadows to boulders and loose rocks. Reach Balu Ka Ghera and enjoy the surrounding flowery meadows and Dhauladhar mountain views.
Hampta Pass
Cross Hampta Pass at approximately 14,100 feet and experience the dramatic transition between the lush landscapes of Kullu and the rugged terrain of Lahaul. The trail offers views of Deo Tibba, glacial streams and the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
Siagoru
Descend from Hampta Pass through slippery soil and loose stones towards Siagoru. Spend the night at the campsite surrounded by the high-altitude landscape.
Chatru
Reach Chatru after descending from Siagoru and check into the campsite. Chatru also serves as the base for the excursion towards Chandratal Lake.
Chandratal Lake
Drive from Chatru towards Chandratal and explore the beautiful glacial lake, also known as the Moon Lake, situated in the Lahaul Valley. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and spectacular mountain landscapes.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Manali to Jobra | Trek to Chika
Assemble at the boarding point in Manali at the base camp in Aleo and meet your Trek Guide.
Drive from Manali to Jobra and enjoy scenic views of the Kullu Valley.
Begin the trek from Jobra towards Chika.
The trail passes through:
- Lush green forests
- Wooden bridges
- Rani Nallah stream
Reach Chika and check into the campsite.
Spend some leisure time around the campsite and enjoy the beautiful Himalayan surroundings.
Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in camps at Chika.
Meals: Lunch, Evening Snacks & Dinner
Day 2 – Chika to Balu Ka Ghera Trek
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast.
Begin the approximately 9 km trek from Chika to Balu Ka Ghera.
The trail follows the Hampta River and begins with meadow terrain before turning into boulders and loose rocks.
Enjoy spectacular views of the Dhauladhar Range.
Reach Balu Ka Ghera and check into the campsite.
Spend some leisure time exploring the flowery meadows and surrounding Himalayan valley.
Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in camps.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks & Dinner
Day 3 – Balu Ka Ghera to Siagoru via Hampta Pass
Wake up early and have breakfast.
Begin the approximately 7 km trek from Balu Ka Ghera towards Siagoru via Hampta Pass.
Cross Hampta Pass at approximately 14,100 feet.
The trail consists largely of boulders and can be challenging.
Enjoy views of:
- Deo Tibba
- Glacial streams
- Himalayan landscapes
- Vibrant alpine flora
After lunch, begin the descent from Hampta Pass towards Siagoru.
The downhill trail includes slippery soil and loose stones.
Reach Siagoru and check into the campsite.
Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in camps.

Day 4 – Siagoru to Chatru | Chandratal Lake Excursion
Wake up early and have breakfast.
Begin the approximately 7 km downhill trek from Siagoru to Chatru.
The descent includes tricky slopes with limited vegetation, so extra care is required.
Reach Chatru and check into the campsite.
After lunch, drive towards Chandratal Lake.
Explore the beautiful glacial lake, also known as Moon Lake, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Lahaul Valley.
After sightseeing, drive back to Chatru.
Spend the evening relaxing at the campsite.
Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in camps.

Day 5 – Chatru to Manali | Trek Ends
Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and have breakfast.
Check out from the campsite and drive from Chatru towards Manali.
Reach Manali by afternoon.
If time permits, explore Old Manali, stroll around town or visit the theme-based cafés.
The trek concludes after reaching Manali.

The remaining amount must be paid before boarding with RangRoute.

Sharing

Important Information
The itinerary may change depending on weather conditions, snowfall, road conditions, landslides, roadblocks, natural calamities and other unforeseen circumstances.
The Hampta Pass crossing reaches approximately 14,100 feet and includes boulder sections, slippery terrain, loose rocks and high-altitude conditions. Travelers should be physically prepared for a demanding trek.
As per local authority regulations, Tempo Travellers are not allowed beyond the Chandratal campsites. Travelers must use the mandatory local cab service to visit Chandratal Lake and return.
An additional ₹400 per person is payable directly to the local cab driver for the Chandratal transfer.

Terms & Conditions
Payment Policy: ₹2,500 per person must be paid at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining amount is payable before departure.
Verification Policy: Government-issued ID must be verified before boarding. No boarding will be entertained without a valid Government ID.
Conduct Policy: Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated during the trip.
Banned Substances: Narcotics and banned substances are strictly prohibited during the tour. RangRoute and its organizers will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.
Natural Calamity Condition: RangRoute will not be responsible for delays, alterations or indirectly incurred expenses caused by natural hazards, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, landslides, political closures, roadblocks or other unforeseen incidents.
Departure Policy: Travelers must report at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. IDs will be verified before boarding.
