Embark on an adventurous trek towards Gartang Gali from Lanka Bridge. The approximately 2.5 km trek offers thrilling views and an unforgettable experience near the Indo-China border.

Gangotri Temple

Visit the sacred Gangotri Temple, an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Spend some peaceful time at the temple and explore the surrounding area.

Surya Kund

Take a short walk from Gangotri Temple to Surya Kund Waterfall and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.

Lama Top

Begin the scenic approximately 2.5 km trek towards Lama Top and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Harshil Valley and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Bagori Village

Visit Bagori Village, a traditional Himalayan village known for its unique culture, traditional wooden houses and peaceful mountain surroundings.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 0 – Delhi to Uttarkashi

Assemble at the boarding point in Delhi at Akshardham Metro Station and meet your trip captain.

Begin the overnight journey towards Uttarkashi and socialize with your fellow travellers.

Day 1 – Uttarkashi to Harshil Valley

Reach Uttarkashi in the morning, freshen up and have breakfast.

After breakfast, continue the scenic drive towards Harshil Valley.

Take a short stop at the picturesque Khedi Waterfall en route and enjoy the mesmerizing mountain views throughout the journey.

Reach Harshil by evening and check into the campsite or homestay.

Spend some leisure time relaxing before taking a short walk around Harshil Village, subject to available time.

In the evening, gather around for a cozy bonfire session.

Enjoy home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in Harshil.

Day 2 – Gartang Gali, Gangotri and Surya Kund

Wake up to a refreshing mountain morning and enjoy breakfast.

After breakfast, drive towards Lanka Bridge, the starting point of the Gartang Gali trek.

Embark on the approximately 2.5 km trek to Gartang Gali and experience the thrilling mountain trail near the Indo-China border.

Later, drive towards the sacred Gangotri Temple.

Offer prayers at the temple and take a short walk towards the beautiful Surya Kund Waterfall.

After exploring the area, drive back towards Harshil Valley.

Enjoy home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay at the hotel or campsite in Harshil.

Day 3 – Lama Top Trek and Bagori Village

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast with mesmerizing views of the valley.

After breakfast, begin the approximately 2.5 km trek towards Lama Top.

Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Harshil Valley and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

After returning from the trek, visit the beautiful Bagori Village.

Explore the traditional Himalayan village, its unique culture and wooden houses.

Later in the afternoon, board the vehicle for the return journey towards Delhi.

Take a dinner halt en route around Rishikesh or Chamba.

Day 4 – Arrival in Delhi

Continue the return journey towards Delhi.

Reach Delhi early in the morning with unforgettable memories of Harshil Valley, trekking, monasteries, villages and the Himalayas.

The Gartang Gali and Lama Top treks are subject to weather and local conditions.

Additional costs may arise in situations such as heavy snowfall, roadblocks, landslides, natural calamities or other circumstances beyond the control of the organizers.

A snow-chained or 4x4 vehicle may be required in case of heavy snowfall, and the additional cost is excluded from the package.

Conduct Policy: Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated during the trip.

Banned Substances: Narcotics and banned substances are strictly prohibited during the tour. RangRoute and its organizers will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.

Natural Calamity Condition: RangRoute will not be responsible for delays, alterations or indirectly incurred expenses caused by natural hazards, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, landslides, political closures or other unforeseen incidents.

Departure Policy: Travelers must report at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. IDs will be verified before boarding.
