Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Leh | Acclimatization

Arrive in Leh by flight.

Check into the hotel, freshen up and take some leisure time to rest.

This day is dedicated to acclimatization before beginning the high-altitude road journey.

In the evening, take a relaxed stroll around Leh Town and meet your fellow travellers.

Attend the acclimatization session conducted by the Trip Captain.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 – Leh Sightseeing

Wake up to a relaxed morning and have breakfast.

Head out to explore Leh and nearby attractions.

Visit:

  • Hall of Fame
  • Magnetic Hill
  • Pathar Sahib Gurudwara
  • Indus–Zanskar Confluence
  • Shanti Stupa
  • Leh Palace

Return to Leh in the evening.

Spend some time café hopping and exploring the local bazaars.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3 – Leh to Nubra Valley | Khardung La & Hunder

Wake up early and have breakfast.

Begin the journey towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La at approximately 17,582 feet.

Continue towards Hunder.

En route, visit:

  • Diskit Monastery
  • Maitreya Buddha Statue
  • Hunder Sand Dunes

Enjoy the unique cold-desert landscape of Nubra Valley.

You can optionally enjoy a ride on the famous double-humped Bactrian camel.

ATV quad biking at the sand dunes is also available at your own cost.

Check into the scenic Swiss tents in Hunder.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay.

Day 4 – Turtuk Village | India's Northernmost Village

Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and have breakfast.

Drive towards Turtuk Village while travelling parallel to the Shyok River.

Explore Turtuk and experience its unique culture, language, traditional clothing and architecture.

Enjoy views of the snow-covered Karakoram mountains surrounding the village.

Later, return towards Hunder.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Swiss tents.

Day 5 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso | Shyok Valley

Wake up and have breakfast.

Leave Nubra Valley and travel towards Pangong Tso through the scenic Shyok Valley.

Take a lunch halt at Durbuk or Tangtse at your own expense.

Continue towards Pangong Tso.

Reach the campsite and check in.

Later, take a peaceful walk around Pangong Lake and enjoy the spectacular high-altitude surroundings.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Swiss tents / cottages.

Day 6 – Pangong Tso to Leh | Chang La & Thiksey

Wake up early and experience the beautiful sunrise at Pangong Tso.

Have breakfast before beginning the journey back towards Leh.

Travel via Chang La at approximately 17,586 feet.

En route, visit:

  • Thiksey Monastery
  • Rancho School

Reach Leh and check into the hotel.

Spend the evening exploring Leh's cafés and local markets and shop for authentic souvenirs.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7 – Leh Departure

Wake up and have breakfast.

Check out from the hotel and proceed towards Leh Airport.

This is a high-altitude Ladakh trip, and proper acclimatization is essential. The first day is specifically reserved for acclimatization before beginning the road journey.

Payment Policy: ₹5,000 per person must be paid at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining amount is payable before departure.

Verification Policy: Government-issued ID must be verified before boarding. No boarding will be entertained without a valid Government ID.

Conduct Policy: Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated during the trip.

Banned Substances: Narcotics and banned substances are strictly prohibited during the tour. RangRoute and its organizers will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.

Natural Calamity Condition: RangRoute will not be responsible for delays, alterations or indirectly incurred expenses caused by natural hazards, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, landslides, political closures, roadblocks or other unforeseen incidents.

Departure Policy: Travelers must report at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. IDs will be verified before boarding.

Bike Policy: Bikers must submit a refundable security amount before the start of the trip. Any bike damage, except engine damage, is borne directly by the client.
