Yulla Base Camp

Yulla Kanda Lake

Trek towards Yulla Kanda Lake and experience the serene beauty of the high-altitude landscape surrounded by the Kinnaur Himalayas.

Krishna Temple

Visit the ancient Lord Krishna Temple at Yulla Kanda Lake. According to local belief mentioned by the source, the temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas during their exile.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 0 – Delhi to Tapri / Yulla Village

Assemble at the designated boarding point in Delhi and meet your Trip Captain.

Begin the overnight journey towards Tapri / Yulla Khas Village.

Interact with your fellow travellers and enjoy the journey towards Kinnaur.

Day 1 – Arrival at Tapri / Yulla Village

Enjoy the scenic drive through the winding mountain roads of Himachal Pradesh.

Reach Tapri / Yulla Khas Village and check into the hotel / homestay.

Freshen up and take some leisure time.

Later, explore the village and its surroundings.

Experience:

In the evening, attend the trek briefing session with your trek guide and prepare for the next day's trek.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay at the hotel / homestay.

Day 2 – Yulla Khas Village to Yulla Base Camp

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast.

Check out from the accommodation and begin the trek towards Yulla Base Camp.

The trek is approximately 10 km and takes around 4–6 hours.

The trail passes through:

• Oak forests
• Pine forests
• Deodar forests
• Meadows
• Scenic Himalayan landscapes

Reach Yulla Base Camp and check into the camps.

Enjoy a packed lunch either during the trek or after reaching the base camp.

Spend some leisure time around the campsite.

Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in the camps.

Day 3 – Yulla Kanda Lake & Krishna Temple | Departure to Delhi

Wake up early in the morning.

Begin the trek towards Yulla Kanda Lake and visit the ancient Krishna Temple.

Enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Kinnaur Himalayas and peaceful surroundings around the lake.

After exploring the lake and temple, trek back towards Yulla Base Camp.

Have breakfast at the base camp.

In the afternoon, descend back towards Tapri / Yulla Khas Village.

Freshen up at the hotel / homestay before beginning the return journey.

In the evening, start the overnight journey towards Delhi.

Day 4 – Delhi Arrival | Trip Ends

Reach Delhi early in the morning.

The trip concludes after reaching Delhi.

The Yulla Kanda trek covers approximately 10 km from Yulla Khas Village to the base camp and takes around 4–6 hours.

The trek includes forest trails, meadows and high-altitude Himalayan terrain, so travelers should be physically prepared for trekking.

Payment Policy: ₹2,500 per person must be paid at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining amount is payable before departure.

Verification Policy: Government-issued ID must be verified before boarding. No boarding will be entertained without a valid Government ID.

Conduct Policy: Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated during the trip.

Banned Substances: Narcotics and banned substances are strictly prohibited during the tour. RangRoute and its organizers will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.

Natural Calamity Condition: RangRoute will not be responsible for delays, alterations or indirectly incurred expenses caused by natural hazards, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, landslides, political closures, roadblocks or other unforeseen incidents.

Departure Policy: Travelers must report at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. IDs will be verified before boarding.
